Pediatrics Clinic under the leadership of Specialist Physician N.Cengiz YAŞAR provides healthy baby monitoring, diagnosis and treatments for sick children, emergency polyclinics service for 24 hours a day and necessary monitoring and treatment for the patients who need to be treated by being hospitalized.

During the monitoring of babies' health, mothers are informed about the monthly developments of babies, their nutrition and when the vaccines should be done and every kind of problem regarding the babies are tried to be solved in the early period. New-born babies are examined in 5th day and the mothers are informed about the baby care and nutrition.  Also, phenylketonuria scanning test is conducted with two drops of heel blood drawn from the baby. Every month periodical monitoring regarding the protection and development of children’s health is conducted.

After the birth, it is encouraged for the babies who are monitored next to mothers to be breastfed by their mothers and training is given regarding the feeding with breast milk. Also the mothers are informed about the subjects regarding the baby care.

 Premature babies or babies who are born with problem are monitored in Neonatal Unit. Also, jaundice and other problems to occur in neonatal period are treated in the best way.   The babies who are treated by being hospitalized in Neonatal Unit are monitored in Children polyclinic of our hospital after their discharges and after scanning tests (for phenylketonuria and hypothyroid) are done their developments, vaccines and nutrition status are monitored periodically. Also, ultrasonography is taken in radiology unit for the early diagnosis of hip dislocation.
